The New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology has organised a Student Product Development Challenge. The challenge provides teams of senior students the experience of exploring creative solutions to practical food science problems and questions. The teams work alongside food industry mentors to develop an innovative new food product.
Annabelle Boret, Imake’s Techincal Manager (on behalf of Imake-parent brand of Mad Millie) provided a team of students at Carmel College with a cheque to support them with their project on frozen yoghurt. Imake believes this is a great project that NZIFT run and want to support the young students’ educational development. Last year Imake supported a team of students at Queen’s High School in Dunedin.
